Hello and welcome to Ross Coder Digital Services. My interest in photography started during the 8th Grade, I was walking by a local camera shop everyday on the way home from school. I would stop by the shop on the way home from school. After some time the owner offered me a job to work for a couple hours cleaning the shop and stocking the shelves.  He saw my interest in photography and recognized that I had a natural talent toward picture composition.

He worked with me to understand the basics of photography and developing. Yes, it was back in the day of darkrooms and chemical development of film. We learned about shutter speed, exposure, film speed, lighting and composition. With his help I learned to appreciate the composition and the eye required to find a good picture in every day things. He would say you have to be able to visualize the scene before you can begin to take the picture.

Today, I still enjoy finding unique and interesting pictures in everyday life.  Thanks to Apollo Camera Exchange in Hamilton Ohio for taking the time and interest to teach a young kid so much about the photography world. In a sense it opened my eyes to a whole new world that I had never seen before.

Pictures are split second moments in time that are frozen forever for observation and reflection.
